We, the People of Israel, are absolutely THRILLED that after 5 years of captivity, Gilad Shalit will finally return home to his family and his country. In Israel, we are like one big family, and feel each other's pain as if it were our own.
At the same time, we take Hamas' threats very seriously and pray that this will not lead to an increase in terror attacks and kidnappings of Israeli citizens.
Hamas 'political' leader Khaled Meshaal has already said that the terrorists who will be released in the Gilad Shalit deal will "return to the struggle." Besides numerous suicide bombings and cold-blooded killings, Hamas is responsible for over 12,000 rockets that have been fired into towns in southern Israel.
Now more than ever, Israel needs support from its friends around the world in its Fight Against Terror. This war is not only being fought by the IDF on the battlefield - it is being fought in the arena of public opinion throughout the world.
Simply stated, the world MUST know the TRUTH about Israel and its' potential 'peace partners'. The enemies of Israel have spent hundreds of millions of dollars to spread lies and demonize the State of Israel.
